Hermann's Jazz Club is the best place to visit for live jazz and blues in Victoria, BC. On July 15, Hermann’s Jazz Club began in 1981 at the Bastion Inn when Hermann Nieweler was persuaded by his friend Barry Stubbs to book Friday Harbor’s Island City Jazz Band for a weekend performance at his hotel.
